Macadamia Nut Blueberry Smoothie
This quick and easy smoothie is full of nutritious ingredients - a perfect way to fuel your day especially if your morning is rushed.
The golden linseeds in this recipe have been found in studies to help perimenopausal women who are overweight reduce fat from their midsections. The seeds have also been found to lower cholesterol and help maintain blood sugar levels. The macadamia nuts add some protein which will help keep you full longer.
Ingredients: (serves 2)

2 tablespoons golden linseeds

1/4 cup macadamia nuts unsalted

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 tablespoon vanilla paste

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 cup milk, soy milk, or almond milk
Directions
Place linseeds and macadamia nuts in blender and pulse until powdery. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
